Question 1

How do I choose the right curtains for my living room?

Accepted Answer

When selecting curtains, consider both light control and style. Lighter fabrics like sheer curtains are ideal if you want more brightness, while heavier fabrics, blackout or velvet curtains add elegance and privacy. For living rooms with multiple windows, use matching curtains and rods at the same height to create a unified look.

Question 2

Are velvet curtains a good choice for the living room?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Velvet curtains add a rich, luxurious feel to your living room. Their heavyweight offers excellent privacy and insulation, and you can add liners for an even more formal, elegant look.

Question 3

Should living room curtains touch the floor?

Accepted Answer

This is a personal choice and as you are choosing custom made curtains, you can decide what suits you best. Generally, we tend to suggest 1cm above the ground in order to stay cleaner but you can have the higher or lower as you prefer.
