Absolutely. We are transparent and always want you to feel we can be trusted. The last thing we want is to make you feel conned. So yes, absolutely no charge, no obligation, no pressure.

I read that you can offer a next day service for custom made curtains. Is there a catch?

No catches. We have a range of fabrics in stock and if you need a fast turnaround, order before 3:00 PM and we will custom make everything to install the following working day.

Is the time I requested confirmed?

Accepted Answer

We have a team of 8 sales advisors and will manage your request in most cases. In the event that the time you requested is not available, we will contact you and do our best to accommodate any alternate times for you

How much time is needed for the appointment?

Accepted Answer

In most instances, around one hour is enough. If you have a lot of windows, we may require more time. We never want you to feel rushed, nor do we want you to feel we’ve overstayed our welcome.

Can I book an evening appointment?

Yes, you can. Our normal working hours are till around 6 pm, but you are the customer and if you need later than that, we'll make it happen, don't worry.

Will the salesperson bring every catalogue with him?

Accepted Answer

As we have thousands of fabrics, it would be very difficult to carry everything (not to mention the space required and time needed to go through them all). So the teams carry 20-30 of our best selling collections to simplify things for you.

Will the team be exactly on time?

Accepted Answer

The answer is yes most of the time. But in certain instances, they may hit a delay due to a previous appointment over-running, or unexpected traffic etc. This doesn’t happen often, but if it does, there will be communication from the sales person or the office to update you

What can I expect during the appointment?

Our team will arrive at the allotted time. They will bring samples with them and go through the options with you to have an understanding of your requirements. They will then proceed to take precise measurements. They will key your selection along with the measurements into their iPads and give you an instant quotation. This will allow you time to change things around to suit your budget.

Do I need to pay anything?

If you are happy with the service and selection (and the price of course) and would like to proceed, we will request a 50% advance payment to get the ball rolling. If you need time to think it over, no problem, the quotation will be sent by email and no money will change hands at this point.

If I decide to go ahead, how can I be sure of on time delivery and my money is safe?

We have been around for over a decade and 47.6% of our month to month business is from returning customers. We must be doing something right. The majority of orders are manufactured in house, so we have full control over the pace etc.

Ok, I'm sold. What next?

Accepted Answer

As mentioned above, we would request a 50% advance payment. You can do this by cheque, cash, credit card or bank transfer. We also offer installments at 0% interest over 4 months through Tabby or Tamara. In this case, we will charge the full amount on your card but your payments will be divided into 4 equal parts by Tabby or Tamara.

Which kind of motors do you offer?

We offer Somfy, Motion, Nice and Dooya. Functionalities are quite similar but there are differences in costs and performance. Our fully trained sales person can explain the differences.

Can I connect my home automation/smart home?

Accepted Answer

Yes, most of our motors are compatible with Google Home, Alexa, Apple HomeKit. If you plan to use your own smart home system, our technician will be happy to discuss requirements directly with your home automation team to ensure seamless and hassle free installation for you.

Do you offer the full installation and programming as part of the package?

Yes. Our team will manage installation and programming as per your requirements.

Do I need to provide a power supply?

We offer both wired and wire-free options. Our technician will be happy to discuss what would be best for you in his initial site visit.

Do you offer motors for everything you manufacture?

Accepted Answer

You can have motors for your curtains, roller blinds, day night blinds and wood venetian blinds. Any of these can be motorised.

Question 20

How can I control them? Only through Alexa or Google Home?

Accepted Answer

You can use a remote control, a wall switch, through Bluetooth on your phone, through Wi-Fi which allows you to control from anywhere in the world and even a manual override for curtains where a small tug gets them moving.

Is everything made-to-measure or do you sell ready made products?

Every stitch is hand made for your windows. Whether it’s a blind or a curtain, we make it precisely according to your window sizes to ensure a perfect fit.

What is the maximum size window I can go to?

Accepted Answer

There really is no limit for curtains. Installing a 10m by 10m curtain is not an issue at all. For blinds, there are some limitations. For example, if you had quite a big wooden venetian blind, it would be very difficult to operate. Roller blinds can be up to a maximum width of 3m. We can make them bigger but would advise it on a case by case situation.

Do you offer any 100% linen fabrics?

Although we offer natural fabrics like linen and cotton, usually there is some content of polyester as well. This has never been a problem as it allows the fabric to fall very nicely. Our aim is to provide you what you need, so just speak to the sales person and he will do his best to narrow it down for you.

Are your Fabrics machine washable?

Care instructions vary from fabric to fabric. You can check at the time of selection to make sure you're happy with your choice.

I know you sell blinds, curtains and shutters. But as shutters take longer to arrive, does that mean I will have to wait for everything to arrive and be installed at one time?

No you won't have to wait. We will install your curtains as soon as they've been manufactured and once the shutters arrive, we will schedule the timing with you and come and fit those.

How long will it take for installation?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your order, size and ease of installation. Generally around 20-30 mins a blind and around 45 mins for a curtain. If steaming is needed, some more time will be required.

What will you require from my side to ensure a smooth installation?

Accepted Answer

Your job is to sit back and relax. However, before we can begin installation, you need to ensure that the area is clear and there is power to the property. Also, if any permits are required by building or community management, this must be obtained in advance. Feel free to contact us if you need any documents from our side to support your application.

Will your team tidy up behind them? Or am I expected to clean after they've left?

Our team will clean up behind themselves. They will also lay down dust sheets and cover any furniture which is close to the area of drilling.

Can you install on weekends?

For most communities in Dubai, Saturday is okay. But Sunday is usually a no no. For that reason, we only offer installations during office hours Monday to Saturday.

Does your company have the relevant insurances?

Yes, we are fully compliant with the UAE law. Additionally, we have third-party liability insurance, workers compensation and health insurance for all our staff.

Is it possible to achieve total Blackout?

In some cases yes and in other cases we can achieve a very high level of darkness but maybe not 100%. There are variants like ceiling level, floor level, even if the glass is all the way to the ceiling, diffused light can seep in from the top. As professionals, we can adjust and improve as much as possible, but you have to bear in mind that sometimes, the laws of physics are against us.

What are your prices like?

Being very honest, we’re not the cheapest out there nor are we the most expensive. What we do offer is excellent products, unbeatable after sales care and a fantastic warranty. Every company will have the same claims as above, but when almost 50% percent of our business is from returning customers, we know we must be good at it.

We are a business and require a tax invoice. Are you VAT registered?

Yes, we are VAT registered in mainland Dubai and will issue an official tax invoice once payments have been received.

Why did I get a different price on your website yet the person visiting gave me a different price?

The prices shown on our website are based on the sizes entered and entry-level fabrics. If the actual required sizes are bigger and you opted for a higher price fabric, then there will be an increase in price. Likewise, if the entered sizes were bigger than your actual sizes, then the cost should drop.

No, but it's a fairly good indicator of what to expect.

Can I cancel an order once it’s been placed?

Accepted Answer

Made to measure products are custom made to your exact requirements. This includes curtains, blinds and accessories. Once manufactured our products are suitable only to you and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned.

If I’m unhappy with the outcome of my order, what is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

If an order has been made incorrectly, then you are entitled to a full refund. Our aim is to do our best to make you happy, so even if we are not at fault, it doesn’t mean we will ignore any disappointments you may have. We will do everything we can to help rectify things for you. Our goal is to have happy customers and we’re glad to say this scenario is extremely rare.

What if I place a deposit then change my mind after a few hours?

As mentioned in point number 1, everything ordered is specifically custom made for you. However, if the situation arises within an hour or so of the order being placed, the chances are it is still being entered onto our system and we will happily refund you when possible.

If an item I purchased gets damaged within the warranty period, can I request a refund or replacement?

Accepted Answer

When an item supplied by us fails to live up to the expected shelf life due to a fault in the fabric or manufacturing, then we will do everything we can to rectify things for you. In the first instance, we will attempt an on-site repair. If that’s not possible, we will remove the products free of charge and return to the factory for repair. If repair is not possible, we will replace any parts, components, fabric panels etc. Our aim, as always, is to ensure your satisfaction for the lifetime of your purchase and we endeavour to please.
